The Apache RTR 160 4V is based more on the TRT 200 4V than the RTR 160 2V it replaces. The RTR 160 4V’s design is inspired by the RTR 200 but get different graphics and a single seat. The minimal graphics are tastefully done and makes the bike look really elegant. While the headlamp gets halogen lighting with LED DRL’s, the tail lamp gets LED lighting. Like the RTR 200, the RTR 160 also gets an all-digital instrument console.
Power comes courtesy a 159.7cc single-cylinder air and oil-cooled motor and is available in carburetted and fuel-injected guises. The FI variant delivers 16.8PS at 8000rpm and 14.8Nm at 6500rpm. The carburetted model makes 0.3PS lesser power but the same amount of torque.
The bike gets a double-cradle split synchro stiff frame similar to the RTR 200. It gets telescopic forks and a Showa-tuned monoshock. Braking is via a 270mm petal disc up front and the option of a 200mm rear petal disc or 130mm rear drum.
